Naming?

I am creating a paper pieced pattern.  If I choose to name the sections myself (without help from the program's automatic function) will the program recognize my selections and allow me to print the correct pieces.  Thus far, my attempts have failed.  The program wants to print each piece separately instead of printing the sections together. I hope this makes sense!

You should be able to name the sections yourself without the automatic function. Things that might cause problems:

- the size of the design
- the complexity; it might contain a subtle flaw that the software stumbles on

You could try to make a very simple design to test with: 5" x 5" with a couple of straight lines. Name your sections manually, do a print preview and select the "Paper Piecing" tab (top left, next to "Templates"). That should work and show the basic principles.
