Quilt Assistant v2.10
« on: 14 May 2009, 20:56:06 »
It took a while, but here it is: the new version of Quilt Assistant8)

A short summary of the most important changes:
  • Drawing and changing curved lines is now much easier
  • You can make and save your own color palette with each design
  • Print a list of used fabric colors and estimated usage
  • Export to a vector drawing (EMF/WMF)
  • A new file format, that older versions can not read! Should you have any problems reading older projects, please let me know.

You can read the rest here or in the manual, or you can just go ahead and try it for yourself...

This may not be the correct place to post this, but I would like to say a giant thank you for this programme.  I am new to quilting and was finding it hard to visualise blocks and also to calculate fabric amounts.  This programme is a whizz.  I have only designed basic blocks so far, but am looking forward to trying something more ambitious - i.e. the photo design element - thanks to this programme!

Thanks from the bottom of my heart Arnout, everywhere else you would have to pay a fortune for such a wonderful programme and you just give it away for free. THANK YOU
