Image File cannot be opened

Hi there, have just installed this fabulous program, but no matter what image I try to open in the program I get the "File cannot be opened' message with a number beside it, can someone please help me

Hi Wendy,

The message ("The file could not be opened: ###") can safely be ignored. If you see a small preview of the image on the right, then the software did open the file and the message is meaningless. Just pretend it isn't there
